Speech Sound Disorders at a Glance

A speech sound disorder exists when children or adults have difficulty making certain sounds/words. A speech-language pathologist will conduct an evaluation and create an individualized treatment plan that will increase overall intelligibility.

Language at a Glance

A language disorder is impaired comprehension and/or use of spoken, written and/or other symbol systems. The disorder may involve (1) the form of language (phonology, morphology, syntax), (2) the content of language (semantics), and/or (3) the function of language in communication (pragmatics) in any combination. A speech-language pathologist will conduct an evaluation and create an individualized treatment plan that will increase communication abilities.

Accent Modification at a Glance

When relocating from another country or from another part of the United States, we bring more than just luggage. One of the main things we bring is our accent.
